About the film

Fujicolor Pro 800Z (NPZ 800) is a professional colour negative portrait film from Fujifilm, ISO 800, 135 format, 36 exposures, for C-41 (CN-16). The high speed is for people in low light, indoors and at events without flash. The film was discontinued long ago, and this cassette has expired.

What to expect

Fast films age faster than slow ones: expect possible base fog, more visible grain, lower contrast and colour shifts. How much — nobody can say in advance; it depends on how the film was stored.

Practical tip

Give it extra exposure: EI 200–400 instead of box speed. Processing: standard C-41. I can develop and scan it for you.
