About the film
Fujichrome Sensia 200 is a daylight-balanced colour reversal (slide) film from Fujifilm, 135 format, 36 exposures, ISO 200. It is developed in E-6 and gives a positive image straight on the film. Fujifilm discontinued it long ago. It went out of date around 2000.
What to expect
Slide film shows its age more than negative film. After a quarter of a century expect possible colour shifts, lower contrast and shallower blacks. How much is not knowable in advance — it depends on how the film was stored.
Who it suits
Anyone who wants to try slide film with expired character, for experiments, for cross-processing in C-41, and for work where unpredictable colour is part of the idea.
One practical note
Give it extra exposure: rate it at ISO 50–100 rather than the nominal 200. Develop in E-6 — or in C-41 if you want a cross-process look. If the frames matter, shoot one roll as a test first.
