About the film

Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 400 is a colour negative film from Fujifilm, ISO 400, 135 format, 24 exposures, for C-41. A versatile consumer film: daylight, overcast weather, well-lit interiors. This is the US issue with «Return to Wal★Mart for Quality» printed on the cassette. The film was discontinued long ago, and this cassette has expired.

What to expect

With age colour negative film gains base fog: expect possible base fog, more visible grain, lower contrast and colour shifts. How much — nobody can say in advance; it depends on how the film was stored.

Practical tip

Give it extra exposure: EI 100–200 instead of box speed. Processing: standard C-41. I can develop and scan it for you.
