About the film

Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 800 is a colour negative film from Fujifilm, ISO 800, 135 format, 24 exposures, for C-41. A fast consumer film for handheld shooting indoors, in the evening, at events and on the move. The film was discontinued long ago, and this cassette has expired.

What to expect

Fast films age faster than slow ones: expect possible base fog, more visible grain, lower contrast and colour shifts. How much — nobody can say in advance; it depends on how the film was stored.

Practical tip

Give it extra exposure: EI 200–400 instead of box speed. Processing: standard C-41. I can develop and scan it for you.
