Image character
The orthochromatic emulsion is insensitive to red, rendering reds darker while separating blues and greens distinctly. Grain is fine and sharpness is high.
Best uses
Landscape, architecture, still life, graphic portraiture, copying and alternative tonal interpretation of colour.
Practical advice
Use EI 80 in daylight and about EI 40 under tungsten. The film can be handled under a suitable red safelight.
Processing: standard B&W processing. I recommend labelling the actual EI and any push/pull or scanning requests before handing the film to a lab.
