Kodak Ektachrome E100VS is a professional daylight-balanced colour reversal (slide) film in 120, ISO 100. «VS» stands for Very Saturated: the most saturated Ektachrome Kodak made, aimed at landscape and commercial work. It is expired — best before 01/2006.

What to expect

Slide film shows its age more than negative film. After this many years expect some colour shift, lower contrast and shallower blacks. How much nobody can say in advance — it depends on how the film was stored.

One practical note

Give it extra exposure: rate it at ISO 50 instead of box speed. Develop in E-6 — or in C-41 if you want a cross-processed look. If the frames matter, shoot a test roll first. I can develop and scan it for you.
