About the film
Kodak Professional T400CN T-MAX is a black-and-white chromogenic film, ISO 400, 135 format, 36 exposures. Its point: it develops in the ordinary colour C-41 process, alongside colour negatives, at any lab — no separate black-and-white chemistry. Kodak later sold its successor as BW400CN. This is expired film: it was best before 07/1999.
What to expect
After this many years expect possible base fog, lower contrast and more visible grain. How much — nobody can say in advance; it depends on how the film was stored.
Practical tip
Give it extra exposure: EI 100–200 instead of box speed. Processing: standard C-41. I can develop and scan it for you.
