About the film

Konica VX 200 is a colour negative film, ISO 200, 135 format, 36 exposures, for the standard C-41 process — a Japanese film Konica Minolta made until it left the film business in 2006. This is expired film: it was best before 08/2010.

What to expect

After sixteen years colour negative film usually gains base fog, loses contrast and speed, and colours may shift. How much — nobody can say in advance; it depends on how the film was stored.

Practical tip

Give it extra exposure: EI 50–100 instead of box speed. Processing: standard C-41. I can develop and scan it for you.
