KONO! Original Moonstruck is a 135 colour negative film, 36 exposures, ISO 200, C-41 process. The emulsion is worked to give an unusual colour tone the maker openly calls unconventional.
How the picture looks
The maker warns about this separately: the effect changes along with the shooting conditions. The same roll in different light gives a different result, and there is no predicting it in advance. That unpredictability is exactly what the film is bought for.
What to shoot on it
Experiment, photography for yourself, a series where the mood matters more than colour accuracy. If the colour has to come out the way you saw it, this is the wrong film.
How to shoot it
Meter normally, at box speed ISO 200. Since the effect depends on the light, it is worth shooting one roll across different conditions and seeing what it does for you.
Processing and scanning
Standard C-41, accepted by any minilab. Tell the lab the colour shift is intentional, so that auto-correction at the scan does not undo it.
How it compares
It is the same family as Candy and the rest of the KONO! series, with a different — and deliberately less predictable — colour character.
