About the film
Microfilm stock rewound into a 135 cassette and processed by reversal: the result is not a negative but a finished black-and-white slide. The rolls carry no date.
What to expect
Microfilm gives extremely fine grain and high contrast — the image is sharp to the point of looking unnatural. The price is speed: the usable range is ISO 6–12, no more.
Who it suits
Studio, repro work and tripod still life — anywhere with plenty of light and time for the exposure.
One practical note
Set ISO 6–12 and use a tripod: at this speed even a studio needs a long exposure. Processing is black-and-white REVERSAL — tell the lab, because the ordinary process gives a negative.
