Characteristics

A fine-grain ISO 100 black-and-white film based on a Filmotec emulsion made in Wolfen. Moderate contrast and a long grey scale produce smooth skin, rich midtones, and good separation of texture in vegetation.

Best uses

It suits portrait, editorial work, architecture, and landscape in good light. The modest speed allows wider apertures in sunlight and supports clean enlargements.

Exposure and handling

I recommend exposing at ISO 100 with careful shadow metering and processing it as a conventional black-and-white negative. The emulsion works well for both scanning and optical printing.
