Characteristics
A black-and-white superpanchromatic film with extended red and near-infrared sensitivity. Without an IR filter it behaves as a contrasty conventional negative; with a filter around 715 nm it can produce bright foliage and dark skies.
Best uses
Strong subjects include sunlit landscapes, foliage, clouds, architecture, and experimental portraiture. The polyester base is thin and strong, so take care when loading a reel.
Exposure and handling
With a dense IR filter, an ordinary meter reading is unreliable. I recommend a tripod, bracketing, and notes about light and filter choice. Without a filter, nominal ISO 400 is high-contrast; extra exposure with adjusted development gives fuller shadows.
