About the film
A Soviet black-and-white 120 roll film from Shostka, rated ISO 130 on the scale of its day. It went out of date in June 1988 — that is not a typo in the listing, it is what I am selling: a film with thirty-odd years behind it.
What to expect
After that long the emulsion fogs: contrast drops, the shadows lift towards grey and the grain coarsens. How far is not knowable in advance — it depends on how the roll was kept all those years.
Who it suits
For anyone who deliberately wants a Soviet film with character, for experiments, and for a medium-format camera you do not mind spending a frame on.
One practical note
Allow for the fog: rate it at ISO 32–64 rather than the nominal figure and develop in ordinary black-and-white chemistry. If the frames matter, shoot one roll as a test first.
