Bellini EURO HC is a liquid concentrate for developing black and white film, 250 ml, made in Italy.
What it is for
A high-concentration developer the maker credits with three things at once: very fine grain, balanced contrast and full use of the film speed. Add the concentrate's own long shelf life — for anyone who develops occasionally that matters more than any other figure, because the bottle will not die before you finish it.
How to dilute it
The working dilution is 1+31.
It is a one-shot developer: mix the working solution, use it, discard it. That is the most predictable way to work — every film is developed in fresh solution, so times need no extending from roll to roll.
Storage
Sealed concentrate keeps well but dislikes air: the emptier the bottle, the faster it oxidises. Decant the remainder into a smaller bottle, or displace the air — that is what gets a concentrate to its last measure.
How it compares
A direct alternative to Kodak HC-110 and its successor: the same idea of a heavily diluted concentrate that keeps for years. Bellini costs less and gives up nothing on fineness of grain.
