Description

All the chemistry for your first eight rolls in one bag: Rodinal concentrate, rapid fixer and distilled water for the final rinse. Nothing surplus and nothing missing.

Why these three

Rodinal at 1+50 is the simplest way to start: the concentrate lasts years, the working solution is mixed one roll at a time, and storage cannot spoil it. The rapid fixer covers the second obligatory step. The distilled water for the final rinse prevents hard-water marks — the commonest reason a first negative is ruined.

What is not in it

A tank and reel, a thermometer and a measuring jug: that is equipment rather than chemistry, and it lives in the darkroom section. A stop bath is deliberately absent — on film a water rinse does the same job.
