Description

A universal concentrate for paper and film, diluted 1+4 to 1+9. A practical alternative to the branded universals at a noticeably lower cost per litre of working solution.

What it does

Neutral tone on most variable-contrast papers, a full black and quick development at the strong dilutions. On film it works at weaker dilutions and longer times — one bottle covers both jobs.

On consumption

A high concentrate means a one-litre bottle makes up to nine litres of working solution. For a home darkroom that is several months’ supply in a container you can actually find room for.
