The black-and-white first developer of the C-9165 reversal process — the proper chemistry for Svema TsO slide film and related emulsions.

What it decides

As in E-6, first development time sets the density of the whole slide: longer is lighter, shorter darker. It is the most critical step of the process and the first to exhaust.

Questions and answers

Can TsO be processed in E-6?

It can, but the balance and density will not be right. C-9165 is the process the film was designed for.
