UP-2m universal developer

Description

The UP-2 universal developer as a ready working solution, in its modified version: for paper and, when needed, for film. The same formula as our reagent kit, already mixed.

What UP-2 is

A universal metol/hydroquinone developer from the Soviet formulary, intended for both paper and negative. On paper it gives a neutral tone and normal contrast; on film it behaves as a moderately active negative developer.

Ready-mixed or the reagent kit

We sell both. The reagent kit is cheaper and more compact but has to be weighed and dissolved; this solution goes straight into the tray. Same formula, same result.

Questions and answers

How does the «m» differ from plain UP-2?

It is a modified version of the base formula. In practice the difference is in solution stability; the print character is the same.
