The A-300 is an affordable, classic fixative. It is used exclusively for fixing photographic paper. It comes as a powder mixture in a plastic bag, which must be dissolved in distilled water before use.

How to Prepare and Use
- 1Dissolve the contents of the package (200 g of crystalline sodium thiosulfate and 20 g of sodium metabisulfite) in distilled water and bring the volume up to 1 liter.
- 2Use at an operating temperature of 20 °C.
- 3Up to 40 18×24 cm photo prints can be fixed in a fresh solution.

200 g
Crystalline sodium thiosulfate

20 g
Sodium metabisulfite
1 liter
Distilled water
Dissolve both components in distilled water and bring the volume of the solution to 1 liter.
